Executive Director & Board President
Elizabeth attended her first activist rally at age eight and quickly channeled that energy to animals. Active in animal rights groups through college, upon graduating from Virginia Tech she started her career at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) as a Media Spokesperson and Animals in Entertainment Campaign Coordinator. She went on to run the communications department for Alley Cat Allies, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of cats, before working for a full service marketing firm, managing state and federal government campaigns. In 2011, Elizabeth returned to the animal protection field as a strategy consultant and continues to work with multiple organizations, including the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Jackson Galaxy Foundation.
Elizabeth founded For All Animals in 2014.
Elizabeth met photographer Jason Putsché in 2008, when she hired him to take photos of a colony of cats. They married in 2012. They live in Baltimore, Maryland with Joey, their puppy mill survivor Pomeranian, Wally, their rescued Poodle and two female felines, Bella and Frank.
Jason has been a professional photographer for over 15 years, with a wide variety of clients and subject matter including portraits, product, corporate, and weddings. After training at larger companies, he started Jason Putsché Photography in 2005 to offer more personal and detailed photography and video services to his clients. Always drawn to animals, he incorporates them into his work whenever possible. No matter the assignment, it is not uncommon for Jason to sneak in a few animal shots—whether pets of a client or a duck, rabbit, or other wildlife he met during the course of the shoot.
Jason was the primary contributing photographer for Alley Cat Allies, a national nonprofit dedicated to the protection of cats, from 2008 – 2014 and on numerous occasions has brought home cats and kittens from his shoots who were in danger or in need of medical attention. And after providing whatever care necessary, he and his wife find homes for his feline fosters—like Hoppy.
Jason lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, Elizabeth, and their beloved pets, Joey, Wally, Bella and Frank.
